According to the educational exchange agreements and understandings reached by CUCAS and the corresponding governments, organizations, and universities, the CUCAS University Scholarship is a program run by CUCAS which aims to help Chinese universities to recruit excellent international students. This scholarship will be awarded to foreign students studying or conducting research at designated universities.
1. Who can apply for this scholarship?
2. Scholarship ValuesMax. Amount per person: 1,000 US dollars The CUCAS University Scholarship is awarded to cover or subsidize the cost of tuition. The scholarship money will therefore be paid directly to the university the student is attending. If the tuition fee is less than US$1000, the exact amount of scholarship money awarded will be equal to the tuition fee, thereby covering the full cost of tuition for scholarship winners. If the tuition fee is more than US$1000, the winner will have their tuition fee subsidized by US$1000; the remainder of the tuition fee must be paid by the student. 3. When to apply?

Announcement of the evaluation results: June 31th, 2011 4. How to apply?Applicants for the CUCAS University Scholarship must first be accepted by one of our designated universities. Those who haven’t met this prerequisite can browse the list of Designated Universities to apply for a school and fill out the online application form. Once you are admitted by the university and receive an admission letter, you can apply for the scholarship by submitting the online scholarship application form and supporting documents either to CUCAS or to the university. The detailed online scholarship application procedures are laid out in the right-hand column for your reference. 5. 7. NotesThe scholarship is awarded as a one-off payment in RMB (based on that day’s exchange rate) and given directly to the university the winner attends as part or all of the tuition fee. |
